Participating in a well-organized Driving Course is a gratifying and memorable experience. An experience of great appeal, to stimulate clients, collaborators and sales force.
The concept: dynamism, speed, response capacity, goals: these are the values that have always been shared by racetracks and companies.
The emotion: giving room to the more playful, enthusiastic, electrifying dimension that dwells even in managers and adults.
The team: the pleasant and gregarious environment, the motivating role of the Drivers/Instructors, the organization of ability contests that reward fluidity, safety and control: these all cement group relations, mutual knowledge and a sense of belonging.
The image: the exclusivity of the racetrack, the car performances, the personalization of spaces with the company brand, the availability of an equipped congress facility within the Centre, which make it possible to combine conventions and workshops with incentive courses and relaxing moments on the racing track, guarantee a perfect result and great image to Public Relations events and initiatives.
The Courses can take place over 1, 1.5 or 2 days.
The “standard” agenda of a 1-day Course is as follows:
Agenda, contents and programmes may vary depending on the Client’s needs, the number of participants and the duration of the Course.
The Incentive Driving Course, following a theoretical session of only 30 minutes, offers several race track laps at the wheel of the best-performing cars and dynamic exercises with scores and final awards.
The dynamic exercises provided in the 1-day Course are as follows:
Correct driving technique
First session of race track laps, with practical application of the concepts previously presented in theory.
Mechanical system for raising the rear axle of a front-wheel drive vehicle. The device causes over steering at slow speed to be controlled with the correct technique of handling steering wheel and accelerator. This exercise includes a competition, based on technique and driving precision, with a prize awarded to the winner.
Emergency braking while avoiding a sudden obstacle
Simulation of an emergency stop on an artificially wet surface. A luminous device determines the sudden and random need to avoid an obstacle and special photo cells detect the speed of passage in the proximity of the starting point of braking. This exercise includes a competition with a prize awarded to the winner.
Driving on track with Driver/Instructor on board
Session of race track laps for a deeper understanding of the technique of individual driving: approach to curve trajectories, modulation of braking, use of the accelerator, and correct exploitation of the torque power of the engine.
Track set up on artificially wet surface and with low-grip areas, to experiment and enhance active safety systems present in cars: ABS, ASR, VDC, EBD. The exercise also includes a competition between all the participants, in which the lap time of each guest is recorded. The better this time is, the more correct the use of the electronic devices will have been.
Driving on track with Driver/Instructor on board and telemetry
Cars with onboard telemetry: for measuring performance.
The data acquisition system in the test phase makes it possible to constantly improve the quality of driving: use of accelerator, steering, brakes, speed. The cars and boxes communicate through a sophisticated telemetry system, in which all the indicators are monitored in a detailed analysis of the driving quality of each “Pupil”.
A graph compares the Driver-Instructor’s telemetry analysis to that of the participant’s. A specific software attributes an objective value to participant’s driving quality (CQG: Drive Quality Coefficient). A competition is linked to the CQG results, with prizes awarded at the end of the Course.
With the option of adding:
Driving session at the wheel of an Alfa 8C Competizione.
The dream that becomes reality.
Driving session at the wheel of an Alfa GTV CUP RACING.
Driving a real racing car, in which one must wear a helmet!
Naturally more exercises will be carried out in the 1.5- and 2-day Courses.
